After spending most of his life in New York City, Bobby left behind a career in finance in 2011 to pursue freediving at a higher level. Most recently, he was based in Costa Rica, but now travels the world to teach, train and participate in depth competitions. Bobby was the first FII instructor in the Americas to achieve Level 3 instructor status, having been trained by 13-time world record holder and FII founder, Martin Stepanek. Although Bobby enjoys spearfishing, his passion is depth training and competing. He has trained with some of the world's top freedivers, and is excited to share his knowledge and experience with his students. As an instructor trainer, Bobby is dedicated to maintaining the high standard that students have become accustomed to when training with an FII instructor. Bobby's candidates have moved on to become some of FII's most popular and prolific instructors. In addition to his regular courses, Bobby is available for private classes and coaching, and can travel to your location.
